Meet UNA Denver
The United Nations Association of Denver (UNA Denver) is a nonprofit membership organization that works to inform, inspire, and mobilize the Denver community to support the vital work of the United Nations.
UNA Denver is a local chapter of the United Nations Association of the United States of America (UNA-USA), a movement of Americans dedicated to supporting the UN. UNA-USA has over 20,000 members and more than 200 chapters across the country. Its members are united in their commitment to global engagement and their belief that each of us can play a part in advancing the UN’s mission and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
This chapter hosts events, builds partnerships, and engages its members to help the Denver community better understand the vital role the UN plays in our local and global communities.
UNA Denver is run by a volunteer board of directors made up of leaders who live and work in the Denver community and are committed to advancing the UN global goals right here at home.

Our north star: the SDGs
The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, provides a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. At its heart are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are an urgent call for all countries to work together in partnership to address the world’s most pressing challenges.
